CHILDREN'S SPORTS FACILITATOR
~ Are you studying teaching, majoring in Health and Physical Education (PE) and want to gain experience working with children?
~ Are you studying Sport and Recreation Management or currently undertaking a qualification in a related field?
~ Do you participate in sport or have coaching experience?
~ Are you passionate about improving children’s health?
...Then we want you! The Position: Children’s Sports Facilitators deliver sport and physical activity programs to school aged children in schools and the community. Programs are delivered before, during and after school hours and throughout school holidays. Stay Active provides staff with relevant resources, training and professional development opportunities. Position Requirements: Applicants must have a driver’s license, access to their own vehicle and be able to provide the following certifications OR be willing to obtain if successful in gaining employment:
DCSI Child Related Employment Screening
First Aid Certificate
Community Coaching General Principles (CCGP) online training
RAN-EC Full Day Training 2018-20
Catholic Police Clearance (desirable)
To be successful in this role you will be outgoing, enthusiastic, have excellent communication skills, be punctual and reliable and willing to deliver programs across all metropolitan locations.
Applicants living in or willing to travel to the southern and Adelaide Hills regions will be highly regarded.
Prior coaching experience in any of the following sports will also be highly regarded: Hockey, Squash, Softball, Badminton, Baseball, Soccer, Volleyball.
